Obiettivi formativi | Il corso si propone di introdurre lo studente alla comprensione del metodo ermeneutico, 'inventato' dai giuristi romani e ancora oggi utile, se non indispensabile, per la corretta formazione del giurista europeo. |
Prerequisiti | Propedeuticità: Diritto romano e tradizione romanistica o Storia del diritto romano o Istituzioni di diritto romano. |
Metodologie didattiche | Didattica frontale di tipo seminariale, con ampia partecipazione degli studenti ed esercitazioni su testi giuridici romani. |

Programma del corso | Le fonti di produzione del diritto romano. Le fonti di cognizione del diritto romano e la loro classificazione. La giurisprudenza romana tendenze e metodi. L'esegesi delle fonti e il metodo ermeneutico adoperato dai giuristi romani. |

Course objectives | The course aims to introduce the student to the understanding of the hermeneutic method, 'invented'' by Roman jurists and still useful, if not indispensable, for the correct formation of the contemporary jurist. |
Prerequisites | To access the examination students must have passed, as required by the course pre-requisite, one of the following exams: |
Teaching methods | Frontal teaching, seminary type, with wide partecipation of students and pratice exercise on Roman legal texts. |

Course Syllabus | The sources of production of Roman law. The sources of cognition of Roman law and their classication.Roman jurisprudence trends and methods. The exegesis of the sources and the hermeneutic method used by Roman jurists. |
