Obiettivi formativi | L’obiettivo principale del corso è quello di far acquisire ai partecipanti una buona conoscenza della Convenzione europea dei diritti dell'uomo e del sistema di controllo giurisdizionale da essa istituito. Particolare attenzione sarà dedicata all'impatto della giurisprudenza della Corte di Strasburgo all’interno dell’ordinamento giuridico italiano attraverso l'esame di diversi casi pratici. |
Prerequisiti | Per poter sostenere l'esame di Convenzione europea è prevista la propedeuticità dell'esame di Istituzioni di diritto pubblico o Diritto pubblico e costituzionale |
Metodologie didattiche | Le lezioni si svolgeranno in forma orale con l’ausilio dei materiali e della documentazione distribuita in classe. Le lezioni saranno interattive e prevedono l’utilizzo di supporti informatici. |
Metodi di valutazione | È previsto un esame finale orale con votazione in trentesimi |

Contents | 1. Genesis and evolution of the protection of human rights in international law |
Textbook and course materials | Lecture notes and materials distributed during the classes |
Course objectives | The main objective of the course is to provide students with a good knowledge of the European Convention of Human Rights and of the system of judicial supervision established by it. Particular attention will be given to the impact of the case-law of the European Court of Human Rights within the Italian legal system throught the analysis of several case studies. |
Prerequisites | In order to take the exam of European Convention of Human Rights, the student must have already passed the exam of Institutions of Public Law or Public and Constitutional Law |
Teaching methods | Lectures will be given orally with the support of the materials and documents distributed in classes. The lecutres will be interactive and will include the use of IT technologies. |
Evaluation methods | A final exam is required and the mark will be in 30/30. The exam will be oral and will be aimed at establishing the level of knowledge of the of the topics included in the program and discussed during the classes, the level of familiarity with the special terminology characterizing this area of law, as well as the capacity of the candidate to develop a reasoning for the application of the theoretical knowledge to concrete cases. The oral exams consists in at least three questions. |
